I've just seen three videos on www.chestermysteryplays.com about the mystery play Noah's flood performed in Chester in the 2011. The situations and the characters were the same as the text that we read in class. This mystery play shows profane and comic features wich reflect the society of the time. The impression that I had while I was seeing this mystery play was that I was seeing a musical. Noah, his wife, his sons and all the other characters acted and sang all the time. I liked it.

I've just seen videos about Noah's Flood too, but the 2010 ones. I completely agree with Rachel becouse there's a mix between sacred ad profane in these plays as we could see in the text read in class. This technic is used to adapt the original play's text to our current society's mentality making it more fluent and understandable.

Noah's flood is a Chester cycle's play and i saw  two versions of it. First i saw the original one with all the text respected ad it was interesting because i could see a good example of Mistery plays that represent the start of drama in England. Then i saw another version of Noah's flood played by Liverpool university players and it was really amazing. They respected the text but added funny details and two modern songs that fitted the context perfectly. I laughed a lot but i understood the real meaning of Mistery plays.

I've seen two videos about "The Creation" in 2011 in Chester by Brian Edwards. This videos were about the creation of the world for the religion, so was made in seven day. The first day was created the Light and the Dark. The second day was created the sky and the sea. The third day were created plants and trees. The fourth day was created the sun and the moon. The fifth day were created fishs and birds. The sixth day was created all the animals and the seventh day was created the man and the woman. I really like this video becouse the characters are very funny, they danced and wore clothes with colors that were the same of the objects created, for example they wore green clothes to make the trees. And each day was divided by a chorus. I really like it.

Chester Mystery Plays review

Seeing the Chester Mystery Plays was very interesting. I saw the three parts of Noah's Flood play, performed at the Chester Amphitheatre in 2010. The third part was the one that I enjoyed most. The scenery and coreographies were original and the play was very surprising. Regarding the music, I didn't agree with the tracks chosen, expecially the jazzy and blues tracks; but I really liked the last song, that represented very well the glorious and powerful event. The funniest character, in my opinion, was the wife, whose though was very traditionalist because she didn't want to leave, and I really liked her way of acting.

The importance of the Mystery Plays is that they aim to represent scenes of the Bible in a modern way (obviously regarding the period they were written), and also that they sign the beginning of the drama in England.

I've just seen videos about Noah's Flood. The scenery and coreographies were original and the play was very surprising. The characters were the same as the text that we read in class. This Mistery Plays is very funny and interesting because it show me in a new way a situation religious and profane at the same time. The situation was recited in a funny way, almost like a parody of the real story. I like it.

I've seen 'The Chester Noah Play' interpreted by the student of the Liverpool University. I really liked this video bacause it's been remade in 'comic and original-key'. The true version is interesting because it uses the true words oh the text we have studied, but the comic version is very amazing, it is a way to divulge the story easly, in a society which is poor of knowledge. I also liked the choice of the comic elements like the Rihanna's song 'umbrella'. I think that if the literature is studied in this way, everybody could know it.

I've just seen a video on youtube about the Chester Noah Play. This is a video realised by Liverpool University Players. I'm agree with Valeria. I liked this video too because talks about the Noah's arc in a funny way and is very engaging. When actors started to sing "Umbrella" and "I can see clearly now" was very amusing because the songs seem bespoke for the video.

This video shows that learn could be funny, easy, interesting and adapt to everyone.

I watched the video "The Chester Noah Play" of the 2013 made from students of Liverpool University. I enjoyed the scenography that was created, the medieval costumes for me were a bit esagerated because the time was of Noah, so before Jesus, and in that period the clothes was different. But for another particularity, for example the music or some comic scenes is a way for interest more students about the argoment, but if there were less song, maybe it was better.

I've just seen a video on youtube called "The Chester Noah Play" performed by Liverpool University players in 2013. I think that this video is very interesting and amazing, in fact I licked it. It is different from others Noah's arch's histories: this is performed in an unusual and comic way, because actors respected the original text but they had changed some details, realising an original video. I liked modern musics, like the Rihanna's song "Umbrella", beacause I think they are adapts to make the video funny.

I've just seen a video about mistery plays about Noah's flood performed in Chester. I really liked the new way to see and to point out the relation between profane and sacred, that is done to create reflections between the past and the current society. I can saw that the characters are very similar as the text we red in class. It was very interesting,Iliked it.

I've seen a video on YouTube called 'Chester Mystery Plays - Chestival Noah', it's a version of Noah performed at Chester Amphitheatre, it was very fascinating, because in this performance there was a union between sacred and profane located in our age. It was a great reworked version of Noah, beacause it was rejuvenate, and it was captivating. There is only one thing that I didn't like, it was a stage costume, in particular God's costume, because it was a white dinner jacket with a yellow cloak, and I think that it's a bit ostentatious. On the whole, all the plays was great, because it was very well-finished.

I have seen a video about Chester mystery plays which are among the earliest formally developed in mediavol Europe. These scenes narrated Naoh's flood story and were interpreting by some students who study at Liverpool University. This short performance rapresented an entertaining example of miracle plays. In my opinion it seemed a very nice and amusing parody, and so it was a very beautiful way to interpreted this old religious story.

I've seen two videos about Chester Mystery plays.
The first one describe the CREATION, there were people who, through dance and songs, narrated how god created whole universe, especially the earth, in seven days. It was pleasant because young and old people recited happy together.
The second one rapresented Noah's flood, this type of play often show profane and comic features which reflect the society of the time, infact this short video is an amusing example of Miracle plays.
The show was performed by some students who study at Liverpool University and they knew how recount this story in a very funny way.
Infact, I think it's the best one because I laughed a lot.

I've just seen the mystery play video about Noah's Flood.I like it because is a "human" revival of this Bible text, it includes the human's common behaviour. This revival allow non-religious people to know this stories and I think that this is good.
