Among all the opinions that i read about this sentence, that is "I’m a free man, I’ll chose my own fate", i agree with Nicholas Menditto. This expression quoted by Bors expresses a concept that goes beyond the medieval mentality. His proclamation of independence from fate hasn't been written or said from anyone in this period in which, contrariwise, it feels faith and abandonment to the God In addition , the concept of freedom referred Bors, stress the indipendence from God and instead of the typical medieval man, expresses his opinion without considering the mentality of that period. No, it isn't a medieval sentence.
