The Malala's story
di Martina Chiara Infantino - Saturday, 22 February 2014, 12:15

Malala is a young girl who used to live in the Swat Valley, Pakistan her homeland but now she lives in Birmingham, England because it’s more safer than Pakistan. Her father founded the school before she was born and Taliban think girls should not go to school in fact they would target her father as she was speaking out against them. The school was not far from her small home so she used to walk for going to school until her mother was scared of her walking on her own and she started taking the bus. She is an intelligent girl so she thought in her dreams that the Taliban would shoot her father and her father would have been shot with her. The day that changed her life was Tuesday, 9 October 2012. She was going to school by bus and suddenly a men got on the bus and demanded “Who is Malala?”. Nobody answered but unfortunately she was the only girl with her face not covered so he fired three shots, one bullet hit her and the other two hit the girls next to her. Fortunately she was not killed and she told us her story.
