I want just to say that the film reaches its climax when Joseph sings in Arabic that is a language not taught in Israeli schools, although the two countries people are neighbours and so they cannot communicate each other.
If Israeli really wanted peace, they'd start learning/teaching Arabic in their schools, because learning a language also means acquainting with the people who speak it.
Now you can post your comments.
Who'll be the first one?
When they were born, Joseph and Yacine, had been exchanged during the evacuation of the ospital. The hospital had been evacueted because a bomb was exploded. Joseph lived in an Istraeli family and Yacine in an Arabic family. Istraeli and Arabic are two countries people neighbours but they hate each other. One day the two families discovered the truth and from that moment Joseph and Yacine's lives have changed. It was not easy for the families and for the boys to accept the situation. Both families in fact had prejudices against the other family. The film show from a positive point of view the situation of two countries people that cannot communicate each other with lenguage but only with arms. Unfortunatly we know that in reality in this situation there is nothing positive and only if the way of thinking of this people change and if they learn what is tolerance they could start to live in peace.
