Today I wasn't at the english lesson where there was a conversation about the middle ages and at the phrase " I'm a free men and I will choose my own faith" the teacher asked an interesting question: "Is it typical of the middle ages? "
There are two point of view, the adjective free as a man who doesn’t respect laws, and free as a man who believes in himself.
What about the first comparison? I don't think is typical, because in the middle ages nobody was transgressive, or however rarely a man could refuse rules and become suddenly free.
Actually the question of faith is an important point of view, because a lot of men had need to seek peace of themselves just devolve them upon their own faith.
