Bots says “ I’m a free man! I will choose my own fate.”
In my opinion this sentence can’t belong to the Middle Ages because in this period God was at the centre of universe and it was believed that the man had a predetermined fate to which they couldn’t escape. Instead this sentence might belong to the Humanism and the Renaissance during which man was at the centre of world and it was thought that the man was responsible for their own destiny.
